The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is located south of Chaska.  To get there from Minneapolis, get on I-494 via I-35W or State Hiway 62.  Take State Hiway 169 south.  Follow the signs to the Festival as you approach Shakopee and Chaska.  It will take approximately 45 minutes from Minneapolis.

Directions to King of the Log

1. Enter the Main gate - (Gate A.)

2. Stay on the right perimiter of the festival and move to the Bakery stage.

3. Look down the Hill at the Legend Stage (the Ship)

4. King of the Log is halfway between the Bakery stage and the legend Stage.   It is on the left side of the thoroughfare and midway down the hill.  Look for the straw encircled with ropes.
